JG happened to have her younger brother, Julian, in his group—and Julian quickly became the unofficial middleman, often answering JG’s questions about Steph and happily instigating curiosity on both sides.Their mutual interest quietly grew until one bold moment changed everything. JG stopped by her class getting snacks, Steph smiled and said, “Why don’t you ask me what I like instead of asking my brother?” It was the spark they both needed.
